Continuing Nurse Education in Texas

TNA has led the way and set the standards for continuing nursing education (CNE) in Texas. From basic nursing education to new educational models to continuing education, TNA shapes education for all Texas nurses.

Specifically, TNA:

TNA is an American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)-accredited Approver. In this role, TNA facilitates Approved Providers and Individual Activity applicants through the process of developing CNE activities that award contact hours by applying ANCC standards to ensure quality education.

TNA is also an ANCC-accredited Provider, which allows TNA to provide activities that award contact hours.

TNA's Continuing Nursing Education Committee is comprised of volunteer member nurses and support staff whose work is instrumental to evaluating and approving CNE activities. We are extremely grateful for their work.

Congratulations also to the Approved Providers that TNA has recognized.
